About the Role

We’re hiring a Lead Hand Sr. Glazier to lead, inspire, and elevate our Residential & Light Commercial Team. This hands-on leadership role is perfect for someone who leads by example, communicates well across teams, and thrives in both a tool belt and a mentorship position.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and support a team of glaziers on-site
• Perform high-quality installation of glass products:
  ▸ Thermopane windows
  ▸ Shower enclosures
  ▸ Railing systems & mirrors
  ▸ Storefront systems & closet doors
  ▸ Emergency services & repairs
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specs
• Take precise site measurements, conduct site checks, and help plan installations
• Communicate clearly with project managers, clients, and contractors
• Mentor apprentices, junior glaziers, and other lead hands
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in top shape
• Complete site reports and ensure all job metrics and customer standards are met
• Collaborate with the sales team, scheduling, and estimating departments

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of glazing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of residential and light commercial glass systems
• Excellent leadership, mentorship, and communication skills
• Working knowledge of Fall Protection, WHMIS, and construction safety
• Valid driver’s license with clean abstract
• Ability to lift, climb, and work in all weather conditions
• Skilled with power tools, ladders, lifts, electric suckers, and templating systems
• Organized, dependable, and team-first mindset
