The Centennial Glass Depot showroom is located in Ottawa’s East end and we are proud to be surrounded by so many other great local businesses. We’d love to share with you some of our favourite places nearby:

Culinary Conspiracy

Open Monday to Friday 11AM-6PM, Saturday 10AM-4PM.

While you’re waiting for the Centennial Glass team to complete your glass services, we highly recommend you walk next door to Culinary Conspiracy for lunch or a snack. Culinary Conspiracy is a gourmet food shop offering soups, salads, wraps, sandwiches and desserts. We especially love the barbequed meat sandwiches made in their very own wood fired smoker. There is no need to worry about dietary restrictions when you visit Culinary Conspiracy as they cater to gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan diets. This local shop is also a great place to pick up holiday gifts for friends or family including house-made jams and sauces, locally produced honey, and gourmet gift baskets.

St. Laurent Centre

Open Monday to Saturday 9:30AM-9PM, Sunday 11AM-5PM (See website for holiday hours.)

If you’re looking to get even more holiday shopping finished, we suggest taking a short five minute drive to the St. Laurent Centre mall. The St. Laurent Centre is filled with popular fashion and gift stores such as: Roots, Gap, Bath and Body Works and Chapters. The mall also offers free parking, a food court and large department stores including The Bay and Sears. If you’re not in a rush, stop by Rainbow Cinemas located on the lower level to see a recent movie for a great price.

Trainyards Shopping Centre

Hours vary by store, see online for details.

Located just across from the St. Laurent Centre, the Ottawa Trainyards is a large outdoor shopping centre featuring over half a million square feet of retail space. The Trainyards is the perfect place to get all of your errands done at once. From a grocery store and LCBO to a fitness centre and dental office you can accomplish a lot with just one trip. If you’re looking to relax instead, why not meet a friend at the large Starbucks cafe and enjoy a coffee?

Museum of Science and Technology

Open Tuesday to Sunday 9AM-5PM

The Canada Science and Technology Museum is yet another great place to spend a few hours, especially if you have your children with you. The Museum of Science and Technology is an educational experience that will keep kids and parents entertained with lots of interactive exhibits. It is the largest of its kind in Canada and focuses on teaching visitors first-hand about how technology and science have transformed our country. The museum’s facilities also include a gift shop and cafeteria and tickets are free for children under three.

These are all places our staff love to visit and we know you will enjoy spending time in our neighborhood while you wait for glass to be cut to size, mesh to be changed on a screen or edges to be polished on a table or shelf. Please visit the Centennial Glass website to learn more about the services we offer while-you-wait.
