In 2012, Centennial Glass was contracted by the Montfort Hospital to perform a complete retrofit of an occupied space. This diverse project included:
- new commercial window and frame installation
- interior guard rail glazing
- privacy glass
- UV protection and heat reducing film
- interior window installs in all departments
- accordion door installation
- window flashing and trim repair

Centennial also supplied and installed the wired safety glass glazing for the psychiatric ward along with the decorative signage and way finding film for the administration offices.
The challenges unique to this job included custom solutions for the many different type of window and door frames at the Montfort including curtain wall systems, punched openings, steel frames, manual doors systems, automatic and frameless doors systems, and aluminum box windows.
The variety of glazing solutions included:
- clear glass
- high-performance reflective sealed units
- structural glass
- tinted glass
The Canadian Armed Forces also occupies an entire wing of the Montfort for which Centennial provided all glazing through a separate contract with National Defence.
